I was not able to actually see the dress but Steve sent me photos and personally inspected the repairs and I trusted his expertise and years in the industry. The dress was boxed beautifully and the pick up and delivery service was perfect. Not to mention the affordable pricing even with the repairs to the tulle. Steve both picked my dresses up, and dropped them back off to our home. One less thing to do when you’re working on post wedding things like thank yous, printing photos, etc. The dresses were boxed up beautifully, and Steve and his crew even got a giant stain off of my mom’s wedding gown from 30+ years ago.

Chicago Wedding Dress Cleaners did an amazing job removing all stains from my wedding dress. I had taken to a dry cleaner (Who does wedding dresses) after the wedding but My dress never came back without stains and I thought that was normal since it was dragging to the ground all day. Also I noticed there was oxidized stains on my dress 1 year later which I did not see when I got dry cleaned. I finally contacted Steve and he consulted nicely and removed all those stains! My daughter wore my wedding dress for her church wedding. I took the dress to a local cleaners to be cleaned and boxed. To say I was displeased when I went to inspect my dress prior to them boxing it would be an understatement. It did not look like they had done anything. I am not sure how but it looked worse. I literally thought the dress was ruined and could not be saved. So we called the dress shop for a recommendation and they recommended Chicago Wedding Dress Cleaners. Steve took one look at the dress and knew they had not treated it prior to cleaning. He cleaned a portion of the dress right in front of me and the spot came clean before my eyes. He warned me that the former cleaners could have set the stains in and he would do his best. They did better than that, they were able to get out all of the stains. He let me inspect the dress before it was boxed and it was as beautiful as I remembered it. Do yourself a favor and go see Steve at Chicago Wedding Dress Cleaners. He also will pick up, send pictures and drop off. There are too many memories and you pay too much for your dress to trust anyone else.

I called Steve about preserving my wedding dress – he came directly to my house the next day, sent pictures when the cleaning was done to confirm I was ok with everything, and dropped it back off to my door step within 5 weeks. My gown came back looking like new. All of stains from my wedding day were totally gone. They treated my silk-satin with great care.

It rained on my daughter’s wedding day, so naturally, her dress got muddy. They did a beautiful job on cleaning ask the layers of her dress. They even got the mud out of her shoes!

Super happy with how my dress shaped up – I had green stains all over from smoke bombs during our photo shoot and chicago wedding dress cleaners got the majority of it out. This could not have been an easier process and I am so happy with the results! My dress was picked up from my house , I was updated frequently and then my dress was delivered back to me in a protected box . Once opened my dress was cleaned, persevered and places neatly in another box with a large window for me to appreciate and admire my dress ! I was worried about the dirt on my wedding gown because of the very long train and for getting married on a very rainy day, but from what I can tell the dress is as good as new.

It’s probably not the cheapest option for preserving, but I didn’t get the cheapest of wedding dresses so it was really important to me to pay for the quality of work. Considering everything: the size of gown, dirt to remove, the preserving and service, I thought the price was fair.

I had two wedding dresses cleaned. The first dress had been sitting in its bag for almost three years and was very dirty on the bottom . They were able to get everything out and even did some repairs. Before the dress was boxed, pictures were sent for my approval of work. The next dress had some minor stains and again pictures sent for approval. Kevin was very informative of process and time line of completion. The door to door service was especially appreciated. Communication was super easy and painless – Steve gave frequent updates with pictures and timeline and was more than accommodating to my schedule regarding pick-up and drop-off of the gown. Steve literally comes to your front door at a time that works best for you; simply, service like this is rare today. It can be hard putting such a sentimental item in the hands of a stranger, but Steve and his team made my dress look better than new. My dress was fairly large in terms of the design – A-line ball gown with many layers of delicate tulle, and an intricately beaded bodice. They took great care of it. They also add little touches like including whatever sentimental items of value inside your box. I included my veil, shoes, and wedding invitation/program inside mine, for example.

I knew after my wedding that I wanted to get my dress cleaned and preserved, but was so nervous about letting another company handle my dress after I have heard so many horror stories from friends and family. After doing a ton of research, I found this amazing company and called the owner Steve to find out more information. I instantly felt comfortable after spending a short amount of time on the phone with him, especially since he told me that he would personally come and pick up my gown, send photos during the cleaning process, and then deliver it himself back to me. At my wedding we had some brief rain that wet our outdoor dance floor, so by the end of the night my dress was black at the bottom. It was so upsetting and I didn’t think it was possible to get it back to it’s original state, but this company made my dress look brand new again! They even sewed some tears on my gown for a small fee. Do not look any further than this company when it comes to cleaning and preserving your dress. They are truly the best out there!

Chicago Wedding Dress Cleaners was professional, convenient, effective, and well-priced. Steve came and picked up my dress from my house (super convenient). I was sent pictures of my dress after it was cleaned (they were able to get red wine stains totally out). Once I approved the dress cleaning from the pictures, I was then prompted to pay – I appreciated that I didn’t pay until I saw the results. After I approved and paid, they boxed it up and Steve once again dropped it off right at my house. The box its in has a window so I can still admire my dress. I was very impressed and will be recommending Chicago Wedding Dress Cleaners to my friends!
